3F: Sherman Quek (24)

1) Every Victorian would experience the change of class when they promote to higher levels hence Victorians must learn how to be global-minded. With the change or environment, we need to adapt and develop ourselves even though we are in the different surround and being global-minded would aid us to adapt. When we are global-minded communication between others would be easier and we would learn more about the world around us through learning about others' cultural practices and background.

2) I have been to other countries before such as Korea and i learnt a lot about the culture and tradition for the Koreans which is very different from the culture and tradition in Singapore. For instance in Korea, they have a delicacy called the "Kimchi". Watching the news also make me more global-minded by knowing what is happening around the world and locally.

3) I feel that the environtment best fosters the global-mindedness in a person. If i am placed in a environment where global-mindedness is being stressed a lot, i would know the importance of being global-minded.

4) I think that the comment is very true mentioning about "global mindset combines an openness to and awareness

of diversity across cultures." The comment shows the concept and main point of global mindedness.
